School shooting in Serbia leaves eight children dead

By Sana Noor Haq and Thom Poole, May 3: Eight children and a security guard have been killed in a school shooting in the Serbian capital Belgrade, officials say.
Another six children and a teacher were injured in the attack, which took place in an upmarket part of Belgrade.
A 14-year-old boy is in custody following the incident. Officials say he used his father's gun in the shooting.
Serbia has some of the highest levels of gun ownership in the world, but mass shootings are extremely rare.
