Yadav leading vote count with a margin of 4,322 votes

By Shiva Shankar Mishra, Bara, April 25: Upendra Yadav, candidate of the Janata Samajbadi Party, is leading with a margin in the vote count of the by-election for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR)  in Bara Constituency-2.

Yadav has secured 18, 496 votes while his nearest opponent, Shiva Chandra Prasad Kushbaha has garnered 14,174 votes. The difference in votes between Yadav and Kushbaha is 4,322 votes.

Meanwhile, Purushottam Poudel of CPN (UML) has achieved 5, 514 votes, followed by Ramesh Prasad Kharel of Rashtriya Swatantra Party with 2,196 votes.

The vote count is going on.
