Acting President extends Eid best wishes

Kathmandu, April 22: Acting President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav wished the Muslim community for peace, happiness, good health and prosperity on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr. 

Extending his best wishes on the occasion of the festival today, the Acting President said the festival remains as the symbol of the diverse Nepali society and culture. 

Stating the Muslim community celebrates the festival as a means of exchanging and spreading goodwill and harmony by forgetting mutual animosity and enmity, he said the festival is observed by reciting the Nawaj, receiving blessings from seniors and giving blessings to the juniors, eating and distributing delicious foods.   (RSS)
