103 new cases in 24 hrs, active caseload stands at 397

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 20: As many as 103 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Thursday while 61 people recovered from the disease.

No deaths related to COVID-19 were reported in the last twenty-four hours.

A total of 1,645 people’s samples were tested for the virus infection in the period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. 

Of the total, 72 cases were confirmed through RT-PCR tests while 31 cases were identified through antigen tests.

The active caseload of COVID-19 across the country has reached 397.

A total of 26 patients of COVID-19 are in organizational isolation in the Kathmandu Valley, and of them, eight are placed in ICU and three in ventilator treatment.
