Chitwan Industry Association, an umbrella organisation of businessmen of Chitwan, is holding the fair with the aim of supporting the development of entrepreneurship and industrial productivity.  The Confederation of Nepalese Industries  is the promoter of the festival.

Speaking at a press conference organised to disseminate information about the festival, president of CNI Vishnu Kumar Agrawal said that there was a need for boosting the morale of industrialists when the economy was in a challenging state.

He said that even in a difficult situation, the international industrial exhibition being held by the Chitwan Industry Association would send a positive message to  the industrialists.

Trilochan Kandel, president of the Chitwan Industry Association, expressed his belief that the exhibition would encourage young people in entrepreneurship and help produce new entrepreneurs.

Products and services of construction, agriculture, automobile, furniture, engineering, metal, pharmaceuticals, textile, printing, packaging, plastic, tourism, food and beverages and other service industries will be displayed in the fair, he said.

There will be more than 200 national and international stalls of modern machines, devices and technology useful for the industries, he added.

“The trade fair will be an important opportunity to encourage entrepreneurs to follow modern technology to increase the industrial productivity and to create an environment for the transfer of the latest technology,” Kandel said.

In the three-day industrial exhibition, interactions will be organised in the presence of subject experts for industrial promotion, Kandel added.
