Adharbhoot School gets new building

By Our Correspondent,Gaur, Apr. 10: Construction of a building of Adharbhoot basic School in Rampurkhap of Paroha Municipality-9 in Rautahat has been completed.  The school building was constructed with the financial support of the Qatar Charity and Paroha Municipality under the project of Rural Development Centre Nepal.

Paras Husain, chairman of Rural Development Centre, informed that the new school building was constructed since the old school building was in a dilapidated condition, and the students had to take classes risking their life. 

Engineer Saroj Kumar Yadav said that the nine-room building with veranda was built at a cost of Rs. 12.4 million. 

Asian RP JV was entrusted with the construction of the building with each classroom measuring 19 feet in length and 13.6 feet in width on March 22, 2022, informed Yadav. Bal Krishna Jha, programme manager of the centre, said that around 900 students are studying in the school, and the old building of the school did not have enough classrooms for the students. Since, the condition of the old building was poor, there was a need of a new building, he added. 

According to Jha, the school which runs classes from grade 1 to 10 has been converted into a secondary school from a basic school and with the construction of the  new building, it would be easy for operating the school.

 He said that 80 per cent of the total construction cost was provided by Qatar Charity and 20 per cent by Paroha Municipality.
