Testing of electricity generated from solar begins in Banke

By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, April 6: Pure Energy Limited inhas generated 10 Megawatt (MW) electricity from solar in Khajura Rural Municipality, ward no. 8, Banke.

The main investors of the Pure Energy Limited are Golyan Group and Ranrago Develoopers pvt ltd.

It has been linked to national transmission line for initial testing.  

Chief of Ranrago Developers pvt ltd, Nepal - one of investment partner of the Pure Energy Ltd- Shuvam Gupta said that additional 10 MW will be generated and link to main national transmission line. 

33 kV electricity is linked to Kohalpur sub-station for test, according to the Nepal Electricity Authority Distribution Centre, Kohalpur.

Electricity generated from solar energy has been linked to national transmission line for initial testing, according to chief of Nepal Electricity Authority Distribution Centre, Kohalpur Suraj Regmi.

The solar energy is transmitted to Baijnath-6, Kohalpur-3,Golchha, Kohalpur-10, Belanpurwa, Kohalpur-6, Kohalpur-8, Rajhena.
