blog

By Our Correspondent,Humla, Mar.30: Ward No. 5 of the Kharpunath Rural Municipality now has a new office building. The construction company P&P Consultancy and Research Civil Centre Pvt. Ltd. handed over the new building, constructed at Kharpelgaun, to the ward on Wednesday.

The newly-built two- storey office building has six rooms. It was built at a cost of Rs. 6.7 million.

According to P&P's representative Gyanendra Shahi, it took a relatively long time to construct the office building because many of the construction materials had to be brought from outside the district.

Bharat Jung Shahi, chairman of Ward No. 5, said that the ward would now be able to offer all its services from a single building.

Earlier, the ward had been operating from two rooms provided by local health post.
