of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that he has not got
any concrete proposal for him to become the President.
Speaking at a press meet at Bhaluwang,
Chair Nepal viewed his party has taken the election of the President as situation
of politics of balance of power.
He observed his party's role will be
significant in the election. "Although there are hearsay from different
angles, I have got no solid proposal for me to become the President nor has our
party finalized the issue of the President."
Nepal, also the former Prime Minister,
remarked that his party was not for making sacrifice all the time. "There
is a need of a wide discussion on the President."
Responding to a query on CPN (UML)
Chair Oli proposing him to become the President, leader Nepal said there is no
need to make public everything being considered behind the curtain. "There
is no need to bring everything out. Neither I nor my party has made any decision
on this issue."
