Meetings of HoR, NA taking place today

Kathmandu, May 27: Meetings of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the National Assembly (NA) are scheduled to take place today, with the Lower House convening at 11:00 am and the Upper House at 1:15 pm.

As per the House business shared by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the HoR meeting will table the 'Intangible Cultural Property (Protection) Bill, 2081 BS', which originated in the NA, along with a message received from the Upper House.

Likewise, Minister for Finance Dr Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS.

The schedule also includes tabling of a proposal by Minister for Communications and Information Technology Dr Bikram Timilsina seeking consideration of the 'Film Bill, 2082 BS'. The Bill was introduced in the NA.

Similarly, the NA meeting is set to receive the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS from Finance Minister Dr Wagle.

The Finance Minister is also scheduled to table a proposal seeking deliberation on the 'Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082 BS', which has been received from the HoR along with its message. (RSS)
