Kathmandu, Jan 28: The international flights have been affected due to a server down at Immigration of Tribhuvan International Airport today.

The international flights could not be conducted due to the server being down for one and a half hours, said General Manager at the airport, Premnath Thakur. "The passengers for outgoing and incoming flights are affected. They are stranded where they are," he added.

Although General Manager Thakur urged for 'manual service' at immigration, it was not operated reasoning there was no 'authority' got for it. Such problems have occurred in the past too.

The airport office informed that Fly Dubai, Indigo Air India and other international airlines could not conduct flights following the server down. (RSS)
