Nepathya begins musical tour of Australia

Kathmandu, Jan 27 : Folk rock band Nepathya has started its musical tour in Australia from Darwin.

 According to nepa-laya, the first concert held at the local Darwin Entertainment Centre on January 25 was packed with a mixed crowd of Nepalis living and studying in Darwin.

The concert started with the band’s latest song Bhatbhate. A music video filmed on the streets of Kathmandu was also shown while the song was in progress in the stage, informed nepa-laya through its press statement.

The band performed songs like Chhekyo, Bhedako Oon Jasto, Jomsomai Bazaar Ma, Lampate Surati, Sirfula Siraima, Yo Jindagani, Jogale Hunchha Bhet, Resham and Taal Ko Pani

While singing the song, lead singer Amrit Gurung said, “Seeing everyone here, I feel like I have reached my village. Now I will take you to the ‘Rodhighar’ in our village.”
