Lalibazar grossed Rs. 57.64 million

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May 26: The Film Development Board Nepal has released the Cinepa @ box office report on Monday, covering the data up to Saturday night.

According to the report, Lalibazar has grossed Rs. 57.64 million. The film was watched by 196,406 audiences.

Lalibazar, which has received critical acclaim from many artists, film critics and audiences, portrays the struggles of the Badi community and the love, struggle, and revolution of a mother protecting her daughter from the Nathiya practice within the community.

The film features Swastima Khadka, Bishal Devkota, Rabindra Singh Baniya, among others. Swastima Khadka’s performance in the film has received widespread praise, and the other actors have also performed well.

Likewise, ‘Malati Mangle’ has grossed Rs. 5.16 million and has been watched by 16,137 audience. Actors Bijay Baral and Barsha Raut play the lead roles in the film directed by Praku Pandey. 

Singer Ram Krishna Dhakal officially launched the production of Malati Mangale. Likewise, Ek Muthi Badal’ has earned Rs. 521,825 from 1,501 ticket sales.

Similarly, Guruama has grossed Rs. 2.94 million and attracted 9,327 viewers.

Surakshya Panta’s Life Damage has earned Rs. 2.85 million, with 9,241 viewers watched the film.

 Likewise, ‘Paralko Aago’ has earned Rs. 42.75 million so far and has been watched by 153,925 viewers. The film was released on April 24.
