5.9 magnitude earthquake jolts Sudur Paschim, epicenter in Baitdai
By Gokarna Dayal, Bajura, Jan.24: The earthquake measuring 5.9 magnitudes on the Richter Scale took place in Baitadi district today at 2:45 PM.
According to Mukunda Bhattrai of the National Seismological Centre, Baitadi has been reported to be the epicenter of the earthquake that jolted Baitidai and the surrounding districts of the Sudur Paschim Province.
The destruction of the earthquake is yet to be ascertained.
