Rurukshetra Municipality to provide services from its own building

By Our Correspondent,Tamghas, Dec. 2: Rurukshetra Rural Municipality, which has been providing its services from the Agriculture Contact Office, will now provide them from its own administrative building.

Yadu Gyawali, chairperson of the rural municipality, informed that the office, which has been providing services from the building of the Agricultural Contact Office in Baletaxar, was preparing to provide the services from its own administrative building within a few months.

Bhojraj Gautam, a representative of construction businessman Bhagwat Giri, informed that the new building would be completely ready by the second week of December.

Sowarna PTR Rajeshwari JV Sandhikhark received the contract for the construction of the well-equipped administrative building at Rs. 63.3 million. According to the agreement signed between the Ministry of Urban Development, the Department of Local Infrastructure and the construction company on July 20, 2021, the construction work should be over within two years.

Chairperson Gyawali said that although there was enough time to complete the construction, he had requested the contractor to complete the construction of the building before the deadline as they were facing problems while providing  the locals with services of the rural municipality in lack of its own building.
