Kathmandu, Sept 26 : Film Development Board Nepal (FDB), which has been accused of impeding the screening of Prem Geet - 3, Sunday clarified that the Hindi version of the film was stopped because the production team had not submitted the required documents.

In a 6-point statement issued by chairman Bhuwan KC on Sunday, the FDB  clarified that the Aasusen Films did not submit the proof of tax payment before it received the censor recommendation.

It said that the censor process of Hindi language dubbed Prem Geet 3 was stopped after they did not agree to submit the tax document within 15 days.

It said  that only on Friday, September 23, the Board received the tax-free certificate of the cinema and gave it permission for re-registration.

Likewise,  the FDB said it received the censor recommendation application on Sunday, and  as soon as the Board received the application, it recommended  for the censor of the film.

Prem Geet 3 has brought a new dimension to the expansion of the international market, read the statement.

In addition, the board has regretted the misleading, exaggerated, fabricated, controversial expressions and news reports that have appeared in various media and social networks about the Hindi version of the movie.
