NC leader Nidhi calls on BJP Chauthaiwale in Delhi

Kathmandu, August 3: Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi called on Foreign Affairs Department Chief of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vijay Chauthaiwale in New Delhi today.

Leader Nidhi, who is currently on a visit to India, reached the party office of the BJP at New Delhi and held meeting with leader Chauthaiwale. 

During the meeting, the leaders held discussion on various issues including further strengthening relations between the two countries as well as between Nepali Congress and the BJP, said Nidhi's press coordinator Ramji Dahal. 

On the occasion, the NC leader shared that the meeting with office-bearers of Sri Ram Birthplace Pilgrimage Site regarding the issue of keeping a metal bow at the under-construction Ram Temple at Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, on the behalf of  Janakpurdham's Janaki Temple and Mithila folks was fruitful . 

 He expressed the belief that the long-term relations between the two countries would be strengthened in the days to come.  

Saying the act of placing the bow at Ram Temple would be significant, BJP leader Chauthaiwale expressed the confidence that the act would further strengthen the relations between the two countries. (RSS)
