Parliamentary committee gets seven more days
Kathmandu, July 21: The deadline of the parliamentary probe committee formed to probe into the issues of budget has been extended for a week. Earlier, the committee was given 10 days to submit its report.
A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) held Thursday unanimously passed a motion to extend the committee's timeframe for one more week.
At the HoR meeting, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota had tabled a proposal for the timeframe extension of the committee as per the Rule 166 of the HoR Regulations-2075. (RSS)
