By Kapil Gyawali, Siddharthanagar, July 18: Siddharthanagar Municipality of Rupandehi district has decided to close schools for a week due to extreme heat.
Education Officer at the Municipality Jahnwi Pande said that the municipality has granted a week's leave as extreme heat may cause adverse effects on the health of the students.
The notice of the municipality read, "During the rainy season, due to extreme heat in the absence of rain, the municipality has requested to grant seven days' holiday to all institutional and religious schools from July 19 to 25." The municipality requested to manage leaves from the annual leaves.
