Kathmandu, July 17: Total revenue of the Federal Government stood at Rs 1067.95
billion in the fiscal Year (FY) 2021/22.
The Financial
Comptroller General Office (FCGO) data showed that the government succeeded to
receive approximately around 90.46 per cent of the total target it had set for
the year, of Rs 1180 billion.
The FCGO data
displayed that the government had set the target to collect tax revenue of around
Rs 1067.96 billion however it succeeded to post Rs 984.16 billion in its
account in the FY 2021/22. The target fell short by approximately 7.85 per
cent.
The total target of the
non-tax revenue was Rs 112.6 billion however actual amount stood at Rs 83.79
billion which is 74.39 per cent of the set target.
With Rs. 18.29 billion,
the government able to received the foreign grant 30.53 per of the set target
of Rs 59.91 billion.
Along with the revenue
and grant, government collected around Rs 48.4 billion from the other varieties
of receipt.
