Amount allocated in name of Trust and Academy to be invested in priority sectors

Gandaki, July 11:  Chief Minister of Gandaki province government Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel has issued directives to spend the amount appropriated by the provincial government in the name of Trust and Academy in the priority sectors.    


The Chief Minister issued this directive after public protest over the allocation of amount through the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 in the name of trusts and organisations instituted in person's names, said Bharat Koirala, the Chief Minister's press coordinator.    


Issuing a press release, Koirala stated that the Chief Minister's attention was drawn to the dissatisfaction at the citizen's level regarding the budget allocated to trusts, organisations and programmes such as the Govardhan


Sharma Memorial Trust, the Shree Puna Narayan Dhanakumari Shrestha Welfare Trust, and construction of its building, construction of a building of the Dilliram Lamichhane Memorial Academy and the Amrita Joshi memorial Park, among others.    


The press release states that the Chief Minister has already instructed the ministries concerned to make arrangements for spending the resources allocated in the budget to such programmes in the priority areas in deference to the aspirations of the general public. (RSS)
