Jhapa, July 3 : Nuwakote Tiger has won the title of the 4th National Ring Wrestling Championship organized in Kamal rural municipality on the occasion of Madan Bhandari's 71st birth anniversary. Along with the title, he has received a cash prize of Rs. 125,000.
In the match organized by Madan
Bhandari Sports Academy in Kerkha on Saturday, Nuwakote Tiger defeated David in
the heavyweight category. The competition organized by the Nepal Ring Wrestling
Association has been organized for the first time in the province.
David has won the hard-core
category of the competition. He received Rs 100,000 in cash along with the
title. David defeated Chattan to win the title. In the tag team match, Tuppi
Gang became the winner by defeating the spiderman team. Tupi gang won Rs.
75,000 including the title.
Likewise, Baka became the champion
in the middleweight category. He defeated Sign and got Rs 95,000 including the
title. Akriti won in the women's category. She won Rs 70,000 in cash prize. Akriti
defeated Tanu.
Sujal won in the lightweight category of the
competition, along with a cash prize of Rs. 60,000.

Acharya, former law minister Agni Kharel, CPN (UML) leader Devraj Ghimire, MP
LP Sanwa, general secretary of the academy Surendra Bikram Lakhe and general
secretary of the association Subarna Shrestha gave away prizes to the winners
