Three foreigners rescued from Chandragiri forest

Kathmandu, June 26: Three missing foreigners have been rescued from Chandragiri forest on Sunday. 

A team of police from Police Circle, Thankot rescued them safely after they were informed about foreigners gone missing since Saturday evening. 

The rescued ones were 34-year-old American national Douglas Robe, and Indian nationals Nawaprit Dhillion, 30, and Madhav Gupta, according to a notice issued by the District Police Range, Kathmandu. 

Police rescued them from Thankot-Chitlang road section- some seven kilometres away from Thankot in Kathmandu Valley. They were stranded in a steep hill, police said. (RSS)
