Home Minister directs security officials to act strongly to control drug abuse

Bharatpur, April 12: Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has instructed the security officials to act tough to control criminal activities including the drug abuse.     

Instructing the chiefs of the district security bodies here today, the Home Minister said the security bodies should work professionally to maintain good governance and control drug abuse.     

Minister Gurung was addressing the security officials in Nepal Police College, Bharatpur.     

Chief of District Police Office in Chitwan, Govinda Puri, said that the Home Minister asked the police officials to ensure a prompt public service delivery, giving a sense of transformation.     

Likewise, Minister Gurung inspected different sites in the district.     

On Saturday night, the Home Minister inspected Ghoptebhri, Tuinkhola and other sites along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section and asked the stakeholders to ensure prompt and robust physical constructions.     

Minister Gurung moved to Nawalparasi East today to inspect the Daunne road section of the East-Way Highway.(RSS)
