CFPA feeds mid-day meal to students to mark Children's Day

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 2: China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) organized a special program at Shree Nepal Rastriya Basic School Dhalko, Kathmandu to mark the 72nd International Children’s Day on Wednesday.

On the special occasion, CFPA teamed up with the CCC to feed mid-day meals to school children and promote cultural cooperation and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.

The programme was organised by the CFPA, an international non-governmental organization from the People’s Republic of China, in collaboration with China Culture Center (CCC) in Nepal.

The school is one of the beneficiary schools of the CFPA's meal feeding project, popularly known as the “Smiling Children Program” in China, and different countries in Asia and Africa. The project is children-focused to support mid-day meals to school children in public schools of the country.
