Nepal Twenty20 league to take place on September 24

Kathmandu, May 18: The first edition of the Nepal Twenty20 league is taking place from coming 24 September to 22 October. 

Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwor Jung Gahatraj officially announced the match at a press conference here today. Organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), venue for the tournament is the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. Various six teams will participate, according to the CAN. 

On the occasion CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand expressed the hope that the game would help Nepali cricket take strides in terms of professional advancement.
