Vote counting begins in Bharatpur Metropolitan City

By Shaligram Nepal, Chitwan, May 14: Vote counting has started in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

The counting of votes has started from the Ram Nagar Secondary School and Adikabi Bahnu Secondary School Center of ward-1 of the metropolis from Saturday noon.

A total of 3,277 votes were cast in the local election on May 13, while having 5,074 total voters in the metropolis.

Renu Dahal of the CPN (Maoist Center) from the ruling coalition and Vijay Subedi of CPN (UML) are vying for the post of mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
