The idol of the goddess Bajrayogini Mai was brought to Sankhu in a palanquin accompanied by a procession of people playing traditional music for the festival on Saturday last week.
The two big idols of goddess Bajrayogini (yellow-faced goddess) and Chibadya (the chaitya/stupa shaped idol) with two other smaller idols of Singli (lioness) and Byangli (tigress) were also transported to the town for the festival.
They were all taken back to the temple after the festival concluded on Sunday.
