The Sudurpaschim government has decided to immediately support the survivors of a fire in Achham with a monetary aid of five million rupees.

Nepal defeated Afghanistan by 85 runs in the under-19 One Day International (ODI) match at Mulpani Cricket Ground on Wednesday. Batting first Nepal posted a target of 192 runs for Afghanistan. In response, Afghanistan managed 46 runs in a loss of 6 wickets before rain disrupted the match in 20.1 overs. Later following the DLS method Nepal was declared the winner with 85 runs.
