Shares of Palantir Technologies appear to be heading towards another record high Tuesday after booking its first $1 billion in quarterly sales and raising its outlook for the year. The stock rose above $170 before the opening bell Tuesday, which would be tops for the company that has already notched record highs four times this year, the most recent on July 25 when its stock closed at $158.80.
The price of gold set a new record on Tuesday. The trading price in the Nepali market reached Rs. 198,500 per tola on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of precious yellow metal increased by Rs. 1,900 on Tuesday as compared to Monday's price. The government has officially opened the Chulu West Peak, a 6,419-metre mountain located in the Annapurna region of Manang village for mountaineering expeditions. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on August 3 took decision to this effect. Chulu peak lies in a part of the Damodar Mountain range which offers views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges.
