According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold has been determined at Rs 193, 500 per tola today which was traded at Rs 195, 100 per tola on Tuesday.
Bailey bridge over Puwa Stream inaugurated
Fikkal (Ilam), Aug 20: A bailey bridge installed over the Puwa Khola (stream) along the Kechana-Kanchenjunga (Mechi Corridor) has been inaugurated. Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Debendra Dahal, inaugurated the newly developed infrastructure amidst a programme here today. The project costs Rs 13.5 million, according to Road Division Office's engineer Arjun Ghimire. The total length of the bridge is 48.6 meters. With this, the Kechana-Kanchenjunga road has been readied as an alternative to the Mechi Highway. (RSS)
