Paddies kept in field for threshing inundated(Photo Feature)

By Rekhi Ram Rana, Tansen, Oct.31: Farmers in Palpa are worried that paddies kept in the field will get spoiled because of incessant rainfall. Many worry about bundles of paddy kept in the field for threshing getting spoiled because of the downpour.

Farmers who have been harvesting and drying rice in their fields are worried about whether the rice will sprout in the fields due to the two-day rain caused by Cyclone Montha. 

After continuous rain since Thursday morning, the paddy harvested by farmers in Rampur, Madi, Kachal, Argali, Purbakhola, Gejha,  Jhadeva, Tinau, Sardewa, and Galdhaphant in Palpa has become wet.

Yagya Kumal, a farmer from Baganaskali-1, worries about paddies kept in the field for threshing getting spoiled in line with incessant downpour.
