Chief Election Officer Uttam Silwal said Manange would be declared elected unopposed today itself. He was elected Province Assembly member as an independent candidate in 2074 BS. He is now Minister for Youth and Sports of Gandaki Province.
51 new cases, 22 recoveries in 24 hours
In 743 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 45 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Wednesday. Likewise, the virus infection was detected in six people in 980 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.
