Over 10 million PR votes counted
Over 10 million votes have been counted under the Proportional Representation (PR) electoral system for the House of Representatives (HoR). The total number of voters under the PR election towards the HoR was 17,908,850 votes and the preliminary estimate was that the voter turnout was 61 per cent (10,973,027). Now the counting of around 900,000 votes remains.

In 454 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, four people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Wednesday. Whereas, three people were found with the infection in 1,223 antigen testing conducted in the last 24 hours.
