A dozen parties represented in parliament
The counting of votes under the House of Representatives and Province Assembly elections held on November 20 is in the last stages. The results for 162 seats out of 165 under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) electoral system in the House of Representatives are available so far. Counting is underway in Syangja electoral constituency number 2, Dolakha constituency number 1, and Bajura.
70 marks pass provision for driver license in Bagmati Province from next week
The new provision of being qualified to get a driving license by getting 70 marks on the test will be implemented from coming Sunday.

NC's Gurung leads by 2,163 votes in Syangja -2
Nepali Congress candidate Dhan Raj Gurung has maintained a lead of 2,163 votes against his competitor in Syangja-2. So far, Gurung has received 15,072 votes whereas UML's Padma Kumari Aryal gained 12,909 votes.
Most public vehicles in Valley fail pollution test
Most of the public vehicles plying Kathmandu Valley roads have failed to maintain Vehicle Emission Testing (VET). It was found that most of the vehicles tested failed a pollution test on Friday that was conducted by the Department of Environment, Metropolitan Traffic Police, and Transport Management Department in Babarmahal.
