Lumbini Province Assembly Member Rekha Sharma arrested
Sharma's spouse Chintamani Sharma confirmed the arrest of Province Assembly Member Sharma from her residence in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu. A team of the Nepal Police from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office detained her at 11:00 pm on Sunday.

Exports worth over Rs 6.6 billion from Birgunj in seven months
Uday Singh Bista, information officer at Birgunj Customs Office, said goods worth Rs 56.54 billion were exported to foreign countries in the seven months of the last fiscal year. According to him, exports through this customs point are improving in the current fiscal year.
