Chandragadhi Women's Gold Cup announced

Jhapa, March 30: The Chandragadhi Women's Gold Cup is scheduled to be held from April 18 to 27 at the Mechi Stadium, Bhadrapur. The winner of the tournament will get a cash prize of Rs 1.1 million.

Organizing Chandragadhi Youth Club's Chairman Rohit Subba said that a total of 10 teams have confirmed their participation in the gold cup.

Three departmental teams APF Football Club, Nepal Police Football Club and Tribhuvan Army Football Club, one team from India and one from Bhutan are also scheduled to play in the tournament, Subba added.

Likewise, the Player of the Match will get Rs 11,000 in cash and the best player of the tournament will get Rs 50,000.

The organizer said that the gold cup is being held to develop the district as a hub for women's football and prepare bright footballers in the district. (RSS)
