Energy Minister Shrestha stresses effective service delivery

Kathmandu, March 29: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, has directed the bodies concerned to deliver services making people feel it immediately. 

Directing the high-leadership of the Ministry today, he stressed making service delivery more effective, transparent and people-oriented. 

"Clear action plan, timely implementation and responsible working style are necessary to achieve government's goal of increasing agro production through sustainable development of energy sector, appropriate use of water resources and expansion of irrigation system," argued Minister Shrestha.  

Pointing out the need of coordination, discipline and result-oriented working culture in the ministry, he asked the employees to carry out their responsibilities with full commitment, honesty and high-morale.  

Minister Shrestha underscored that all sides should move ahead to make the country self-dependent on energy sector. He also expressed commitment to enhance work efficiency of the ministry by maintaining effective coordination between policy, plan and implementation by transforming challenges into opportunities in coming days.
