Actress Surakshya Panta has been roped in to do ‘Karsang’ directed by Yam Sherpa. The movie will have Dayahang Rai and Buddhi Tamang as lead actors wit newcomer Chhiring Sherpa as its actress. The film is being produced under the banner of Yarsa Films. The narrative of ‘Karsang’ revolves around the social dynamics of the Sherpa caste.
Pharping Hydropower to become an energy museum
Pharping Hydropower Station, the first in Nepal and the second in Asia with an installed capacity of 500 kilowatts, will be developed as an energy museum. The Nepal Electricity Authority is preparing a master plan by appointing NEA Engineering Company Limited as a consultant to develop the centre as a hydropower museum and tourist spot.
