Driver dies in Manang truck mishap

By Nabin Raj Kuikel, Lamjung, April 14: A truck driver has been killed near Dharapani of Naso Rural Municipality-3, Manang, today. 

37-year-old Ram Bahadur Gurung, a resident of Sundarbazar of Lamjung, currently living in Simpani garden of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality -9, Lamjung. 

Truck (Ba 6 Ka 0461) en route to Koto from Besisahar carrying cement for the Manag Marsyangdi hydropower Project met with an accident at 10 AM today, said Gyanendra Bahadur Chettri, Information Officer of District Police Office, Lamjung. 

He said that the body of the deceased has been brought for the postmortem to the District Hospital in Lamjung. 

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
