Swearing -in ceremony of Prime Minster, Ministers (Photo Feature)

By TRN Online, Kathmadnu, March 27: President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah amidst a special ceremony at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas. 

President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed 14 Ministers at a special ceremony in the Office of the President.

The Ministers were sworn in following the swearing in of Prime Minister Balendra Shah. 

With the swearing in of 14 Cabinet Ministers, the Shah led Council of Ministers has been a 15-member body.

The Ministers that took the oath are Swarnim Wagle, Finance Minister, Sudan Gurung, Minister for Home Affairs, Shishir Khanal, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sunil Lamsal, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Minister for Energy, Water Resource and Irrigation, Ganesh Paudel, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sasmit Pokharel, Minister for Education, Science and Technology as well as Youth and Sports.

Similarly, Dr. Bikram Timalsina took the oath as the Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Nisha Mehata as the Minister for Health and Population as well as Drinking Water, Pratibha Rawal as the Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation as well as Federal Affairs and General Administration, Sobita Gauta as the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Gita Chaudhari as the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development as well as  Forest and Environment, Deepak Shah as the Minister for Labour and Employment and Sita Badi as the Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen.
