UML chair Oli reaches hospital to pay homage to father

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 13: Former Prime Minister and Chairperson of the CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has reached Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital (NKFMH ) in Bhaktapur along with his wife Radhika Shakya.

Chairman Oli's father, Mohan Prasad Oli, passed away at the age of 97 on Friday morning while undergoing treatment at the NKFMH in Gatthaghar, Bhaktapur.

His body has been kept at the hospital. Relatives, friends, and party leaders and activists have thronged the hospital to pay their respects.

Mohan Prasad Oli was staying at his daughter's residence in Gatthaghar. He was rushed to the hospital last night after he developed health problems.

The UML Secretariat said that he passed away during treatment at the hospital.

Late Oli has two sons and three daughters.
