Bagmati, April 4: Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Indra Bahadur Baniya has urged for providing support to the entrepreneurs affected due to the demolition of structures during road expansion in Hetauda.
Inaugurating the 59th anniversary of the Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hetauda today, he said that the federal government should take initiative to waive the bank interest of affected traders whose structures were demolished for road expansion in Hetauda.
Chief Minister Baniya stated that the provincial government is prepared to facilitate the taxes paid by traders to the provincial government and affirmed that it is committed to assisting affected businessmen.
Stating that honesty in business, shouldering responsibility, and understanding in mind are necessary, he warned that if there is any dishonesty on the part of businessmen, the state may come to a situation where it can impose restriction.
Emphasising the need to expand the main road in Hetauda market with minimal damage to structures, he stated that the provincial government is ready to allocate the necessary budget for constructing a bypass from Lachka Bridge to Rapti Bridge, if the federal government decided to construct the bypass.
