UML CC Member Thapa dies of heart attack
Gandaki, March 12: The central committee (CC) member and the Kaski district in-charge of the CPN (UML), Krishna Thapa, died of a heart attack this afternoon.
District committee chairman of CPN (UML) Kaski Bain Bahadur Adhikari Chhetri confirmed that Thapa collapsed while delivering his speech at the party meeting today and was rushed to the Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara. The doctors in the hospital pronounced Thapa's demise.
Thapa was elected the Mayor of Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City in the local level elections held in 2054 BS and the Gandaki Province Assembly Member in the elections of 2074 BS.(RSS)
