RSP candidate Lamsal secures victory in Rupandehi-1

Lumbini, March 7: Sunil Lamsal from the Rastriya Swatantra Party has emerged victorious in Rupandehi Constituency No. 1 for the House of Representatives election.     

According to the final results disclosed today by the Office of Returning Officer, Lamsal secured 54,845 votes to emerge winner.     

His nearest rival, Hira Bahadur Khatri of the Nepali Congress, garnered 11,982 votes, while Prajjwal Bohara from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 8,301 votes.     

Total 66,377 among 143,824 registered voters participated in the election in the constituency.(RSS)
