RSP’s Shrestha elected from Kathmandu-8
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 6: Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu constituency-8.
The election officer of Kathmandu-8, Samjhana Ghimire, informed that Shrestha got 24,592 votes.
His nearest rival Suman Sayami of Nepali Communist Party got 3,217.
Sapana Rajbhandari of Nepali Congress got 2,835 votes, Rajesh Shakya of CPN (UML) got 1,909 votes, Nabin Sahi of Rastriya Prajatantra Party got 1,909 votes.
