Kathmandu, March 2: Chairman of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has made public appeal, arguing it is time to follow right information and make informed decision.
Some elements are spreading coordinated falsity and rumour, so we need to stay away from misleading contents and conspiracy, Chairman Yadav said hours before the beginning of silence period for the election. A candidate in fray for the March 5 House of Representatives election from constituency no 3 of Saptari, Chairman Yadav issued an appeal on the last day of the election publicity and alerted the voters against fake information.
"Don't get swayed after lure and rumour. Remember the sacrifice, history and dignity. Decide for protecting rights. It is time for making strong Madhes with informed voting," Chairman Yadav underlined.
According to him, voting is not donation but an exercise of rights for Madhes' identity and dignity. Such rights was not gifted but achieved after struggle, Yadav reminded. He also appealed to everyone to remain committed to federalism, autonomy and democratic system. (RSS)
