Kathmandu, Feb 27: Pakistan's Ambassador to Nepal, Abrar H Hashmi, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Friday.
During the meeting held at the Singha Durbar-based Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, various matters relating to bilateral interests were discussed, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
On the occasion, the Ambassador said the law and order were restored in Nepal under the leadership of Karki. He also congratulated her on the creation of an atmosphere conducive for conducting the election successfully. He extended his best wishes for the same.
The Prime Minister thanked the Government of Pakistan for its support and goodwill for the Nepal's democratic stability. After the meeting, both sides also expressed their commitments to further strengthening Nepal-Pakistan friendly relations, collaboration and partnership, and to taking them to a new height.(RSS)
