Two arrested with illegal drugs

By Arjun Kafle, Syangja, Feb.26: Two individuals have been arrested with illegal drugs from Zero Chowk of Arjun Chaupari Rural Municipality-1.

According to the District Police Office Syangja, a special police operation team detained the suspects during a vehicle inspection. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prasanna Raj Chaudhary said that drugs were recovered from a motorcycle ( Na 32 Pa 8259).

The arrested individuals have been identified as 29-year-old Uttam Bahadur Thapa Magar and 27-year-old Anis Thapa Magar, both residents of Arjun Chaupari–1.

Police recovered five ampoules each of Diazepam Injection IP, Phenergan, and Buprenorphine from their possession. The motorcycle and two mobile phones have also been taken into custody, police said.
