Daily election-related security review at the MoHA

Kathmandu, Feb 25: The Ministry of Home Affairs is conducting a daily election-related security review to further strengthen and make the security arrangements more effective, with a focus on the upcoming March 5 House of Representatives elections.     

The Central Security Committee meeting chaired by Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal reviewed the daily activities related to the election and reviewed the strategy and human resource management, as well as made the work of district coordination more effective.     

The mechanism formed by the National Security Council is closely analyzing the situation, information, and election-related activities from the local to the center every day.     

The ministry has stated that it is working under the Integrated Election Security Plan 2082 for the Election of Members of the House of Representatives to make the work of transporting ballots boxes, declaration of results, and other activities systematic and secure before, during, and after the election.     

Meanwhile, a meeting of the Central Security Committee held today under the chairmanship of Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has decided to further strengthen and make election security more effective to conduct the election in a fair, fearless and peaceful manner.(RSS)
